Keep your stay short—unless you want to end up like one of those culties, the Jithrayai. They’ve done wondrous things for the system, don’t get me wrong. Without their Skip drives, who knows how flimsy the stellar colonies would have been?

Truly, your Jith tech is astonishing, but you have to admit these people do some strange things. For example, do all of your shamans have to burn their eyes out by staring at the star in front of them at the Glowing Forge? It’s… weird, to say the least.

But whatever, I guess. Your relief ships have saved me twice out in the Fringe. Don’t ask, I won’t say.

Anyway, could you please keep some of your… strangeness… at bay, please? Or at least tidy up the cult. Last I heard, a new schism is out there hunting cyborgs? Should I even ask why? Creepy people I know, but the story about the guy with the second heart was just gruesome.

Listen, I like what you have to say. Sol is cool, and I’m thankful for it every day, but I will not ask a ball of fire in the sky to give me purpose in life. I can find that on my own, thank you very much.
